I always wondered about King Solomon.
He asked for wisdom and the Lord gave it to Him. It goes hand in hand James 1:5 :
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.
If you are looking for wisdom, know that you can ask for it and it shall be given to you.
King Solomon asked and it was given in abundance with so much more.
1 Kings 3: 10-13
The Lord was pleased that Solomon had asked for this. So God said to him, “Since you have asked for this and not for long life or wealth for yourself, nor have asked for the death of your enemies but for discernment in administering justice, I will do what you have asked. I will give you a wise and discerning heart, so that there will never have been anyone like you, nor will there ever be. Moreover, I will give you what you have not asked for—both wealth and honor—so that in your lifetime you will have no equal among kings.
To think that all we have to do is ask…
Hebrews 4:16
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
Boldly is defined as being confident and courageous; showing a willing to take risks.
Are we taking risks in what we ask for? What if, in our questions, we realize that the answer also unlocks so much more? The answer to one question can actually bring breakthrough in so many other areas.
So ask.. ask those questions that you are pondering… ask those questions you are wondering about… Ask my sweet friend… ask…
You may get the answer you didn’t know you needed… the answer to propel you forward into the destiny you were made for… don’t let the enemy steal from you.. don’t let the enemy deceive you… Fear is never from God. To fear is to not know who we truly are. You are His son, you are His Daughter.. therefore ask… He knows what you need… more than you even do…
I pray boldness and strength over you dear one… take heart, take courage, do it afraid.
